Lexington Metal was formed in 1990 to support the need for custom built machinery and material handling equipment. We grew in precision machining over the next 3 years and supported the need for close tolerance machine parts. As the need arose we moved forward into sheet metal fabrication, this opened doors in numerous areas. In 1994 we started building precision racks for the automotive and heavy truck industries. Our finishing department has evolved from wet coat to the largest powder coat system in the Southeast. We now have even more capabilities in CNC cutting and burning. Our most recent addition is robotic welding.
We specialize in the design and custom build of machinery and material handling equipment for the heavy truck and automotive industries in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
Our capabilities include sawing, shearing, breaking, punching, tube bending, rolling, mig, tig, arc, and robotic welding, CNC, and conventional machining, CNC plasma cutting, and powder coating.
Our engineering department works with the customer in the design and build of specialty equipment using the most up to date CAD equipment available (Auto CAD 2007).
We are proud to say that our quality and service has put use where we are today.
Another valuable service we offer modification and repair of returnable containers. Let us put your damaged racks back in your system at a fraction of the cost of new ones.
